Bang Baby
I’ve been thinking about cutting Daphne’s hair. She definitely needs a trim in the back, and I’d like to cut some bangs. Chris thinks I should wait and have our hairdresser do it. This is probably a good idea, since I can’t even hang a picture straight with the help of a level, let alone cut a straight line. Really, don’t ever ask me if something is straight. I can’t tell. And trying to cut straight bangs on a wiggly 6 mo. old might be beyond my talents. Here’s her hair today. I was trying out some of her new butterfly hair clips.

When you brush her bangs straight down they are almost to her nose. Any suggestions on how to safely cut these myself? Or should I have a professional do it?

Hi Jenny. Hey I didn’t know if you had seen this page http://www.hudsonlifephotos.com/, but I thought it might give you guys some ideas. I love her hair, but I can’t believe her bangs reach her nose! Maybe try to cut when she is sleeping in Chris’ arms. I would def. use some kind of shield whatever you try.
Her hair isn’t to the bottom of her nose or anything, but at least to the bridge, under her eyes. That’s a good idea about trying it while she’s asleep. She doesn’t like it when I mess with her hair too much. Although she is getting more tolerant of the blow dryer (cool setting only) and the hair bands.
I love some of those Hudson photos!! BTW- where are your wedding pics, you’d better bring them in April.
Your best bet is to take her to the beauty shop for her first big girl haircut, so should I say bang cut and shape. If she can wait until April, I would love to be there! This will be much easier to main then try to do it your self. You can hold her while she is getting her new do and I will hold the camera, or Chris can hold her, oh, you get the picture.
