Magic City Art Connection

If you are in the Birmingham area this weekend (and aren’t already sucked into the NASCAR/Talladega vortex) make plans to attend the Magic City Art Connection. Lots of great artists, food, entertainment and kids activities. Chris will be there Fri-Sun shooting the event for ONB. We’ll be there. I have a question for Chris… how do you shoot people in public? I am really afraid to do so. I know I have the right to shoot stuff, but kids? I am afraid a paranoid parent (and I know more than a few) will come and grab my camera.
I know at an event like MCAC, or the Jazz Festival he shot last year that he’ll make sure his press pass or whatever is on. He usually acknowledges the parents, if they are close by, and hands them one of his mini MOO cards. I don’t think he’s ever had a problem.
I’ll have him chime in.
