Fabric Help
July 22nd, 2008
Ok, I need a little help from my crafty readers. I’m trying to locate a US source for this Japanese fabric:

I know Japanese fabric and crafts have been really popular for a while now, but it was never my thing. Until now. I’ve tried Superbuzzy and Reprodepot. Any other suggestions? Are there Japanese equivalents to Michael Miller, Freespirit or Moda? Currently I’ve just been Googling with Snow White fabric Japanese, it might help to have a manufacturers name to add in.
Or I could just break down and buy it directly from a Japanese company. I’m just not sure how much of a hassle that would be.
Any help/advice would be much appreciated!

I don’t know how much you need but there is some on Esty:

or from this site

Hope those help
Thanks Laurie! I did see that Etsy listing, but I think it ships from Japan. I wasn’t sure how much of a pain it would be to have it shipped internationally. I’m so spoiled with 2 day UPS, you know. Do you know if you have to pay customs fees or anything on things you buy from Japan?
The second site looks perfect! I’ll try to place an order tonight.
By the way, I’ve really been enjoying your blog. It totally makes me want to go to Japan!! When are you guys leaving for Alabama?
We really LOVE Japan. I’m so looking forward to 2 day UPS
LOL!! It takes forever for us to get our online orders here! Sometimes over 60 days…I know outrageous! I’m also looking forward to having a mailbox an not having to go to the post office…oh the little things in life, LOL! I’m not sure about the customs, but it could be someone like me (military) who is shipping it from a US addy as well, and there are no customs for that
I hope the 2nd site works for you!
We’ll be heading out of Japan the first week of Oct! And should be in Good Ole AL by the middle of Oct
