Who Is ELM?

Welcome to eagerlittlemind.com! My name is Jenny and I’m a wife of 12 years to Chris, and a new mom to Daphne, born in August 2007. Originally from Oklahoma, we are currently living in Houston, TX and vow to never live anywhere again that gets snow and ice. We are just going to keep moving south until we hit Key West. Although I’ll take a tornado any day to a hurricane.
This blog is my forum to talk about all the changes happening in my life, adjusting to motherhood, my hobbies and interests, and a bunch of junk that’s not important at all. It’s kinda like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get. And I think I like it that way. As Pioneer Woman says, “I’m just keeping it real.”
Eager little mind is part of a quote from one of my favorite movies, Auntie Mame, and it sums up where I’m at right now. There are so many things I want to learn and explore… from learning more about photography and web development to exploring my creativity through crafts. And hopefully it’s a spirit I can pass on to my daughter.
